In the spirit of giving and community support, Refurbs Flint is launching a heartfelt initiative this holiday season to help families in need.

We are calling on the Flintshire community to donate any surplus cupboard food items to ensure that everyone can enjoy Christmas.

As we approach the festive holiday, many families in our community are facing financial challenges. Refurbs Flint recognizes the importance of coming together to support one another, especially with the cost of living crisis still ongoing.

We are encouraging community members to donate non-perishable food items from their cupboards that would otherwise go unused. These items can include canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals, and other non-perishable staples that can be used by families in need.

If you’d like to donate, we have collection points available here at Refurbs Flint, at Refurbs Buckley, and Caffi Cyfle in Wrexham. If you’re unable to drop your donations off in person, we are able to arrange a free collection in the Flintshire area.

The Christmas season is a time for kindness, generosity and compassion. By contributing to the Community Fridge, you are directly impacting the lives of families who may be struggling to make ends meet. Your donations will bring smiles to the faces of those who need it most.

We encourage everyone to share this initiative with friends, family and colleagues. The more people involved, the greater the impact we can make together.

Let’s unite as a community and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Together, we can make this Christmas season of warmth, love and compassion.
