As part of Stress Awareness Month this April, Groundwork Training is shining a spotlight on the courses that are helping people across our communities build confidence, strengthen their wellbeing, and feel more connected.
Wellbeing is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity. That includes having good mental health a sense of meaning, socially connected and the ability to manage stress.
Looking after your wellbeing matters. It shapes how you cope with challenges, how you relate to others, and how you show up in your day‑to‑day life. Research shows that investing in your wellbeing can boost self‑esteem, reduce stress, and improve overall quality of life.
What our learners say:
“Coming here and seeing everyone is an important part of my routine now. I feel comfortable with the people here. I feel like if I didn’t come to the group, I’d miss the social each week.”
“I now understand what contributes to my wellbeing and what I need to do to improve it - making connections with people, learning new skills, taking satisfaction and pride from the things that I do.”
We deliver a range free courses designed to support healthier habits and reduce stress, from wellbeing to healthy eating on a budget to Finding your inner superhero. Each course is built to help people feel more confident, capable, and in control of their wellbeing.
