FREE up skilling sessions for over 50’s
Groundwork Training, in partnership with North East Wales Adult Community Learning (ACL), are hosting a range of free up skilling sessions for those over 50 called ‘Securing your Future’ for individuals looking to improve existing skills or learn new ones.
Working with the Department of Work and Pensions in Wrexham and Flintshire a need was identified for the provision of adults over 50 to have access to sessions that would enable them to improve existing skills or learn new ones to enable them to improve their health and wellbeing, their digital skills and to be more economically active.
Session content and themes will be determined by the needs identified from the attendees at the forth coming drop in sessions.

09/10/23 | 1pm – 3pm | Holywell
11/10/23 | 2 pm – 4 pm | Buckley
19/10/23 | 10 am – 12 pm | Wrexham
23/10/23 | 10 am – 12 pm | Flint
26/10/23 | 1 pm – 3 pm | Wrexham
These sessions will be a chance to meet the team and identify and plan activities and courses that would be beneficial to those over 50.
Sessions are all delivered in a friendly, informal way and are learner centered to make sure attendees get the most out of each session.
