The Go Green 4 Nature Project aims to enable young people to connect with their local green spaces whilst developing confidence and well-being.

The Go Green 4 Nature Project is a partnership collaboration between Wrexham Council and Groundwork North Wales with funding from Natural Resources Wales’ Resilient Communities Fund.

This funding program helps to educate young people on climate change, carbon emissions and taking pride in their local environment.

We will be offering regular weekly volunteer sessions each Friday at 10am for 18 – 24-year-olds with the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the environment, help wildlife, and learn new skills.

The volunteers will have the opportunity to take part in an eight-week programme to gain skills that will support their personal development. They will plan and deliver community improvements whilst learning about climate change mitigation and the environmental impacts the green spaces will offer to their communities.

If you’d like to get involved and become a volunteer, you can find out more HERE.
