Supporting vulnerable energy consumers in North East Wales.
Supporting individuals and families experiencing fuel poverty and in energy debt, including those who are rationing their usage with detriment to their well-being.
The Covid-19 pandemic has increased demand for this kind of support, reducing income for many people and increasing outgoings on energy for people spending more time at home shielding, self-isolating, and homeworking.
Project recipients will recieve advice from the Energy team, helping them to identify where their costs are arising, how they might reduce their energy consumption and bills in the future and reduce emissions.
The Energy team will provide easy-to-fit, low-cost small energy saving measures such as LED lightbulbs, smart plugs with an energy monitoring function, to be implemented by the household.
Support and advice will be offered via telephone, online and / or face to face advocacy and signposting (following all current Covid-19 guidelines).
