Groundwork North Wales 2021 Annual Review and Impact report launched.
We are proud to release our latest 2021 Annual Review and Impact Report, highlighting our achievements and illustrating how our work supports the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of Wales.
As an organisation, we are still emerging from the challenges brought about by the impact of the pandemic, which has disproportionately affected individuals and communities that already face disadvantage and inequality. This makes our work mobilising practical community action on poverty and the environment across North Wales more important than ever before.
The review highlights our projects that helped communities during the pandemic, for example, supporting 2,381 individuals and families in fuel poverty, removing 1,330kg of waste from public spaces. It also illustrates how we found new ways to deliver services, introducing distance learning or by creating a new online presence at Wild Ground which created new ways to share information about our nature reserves.
