Groundwork North Wales are offering households in Gwynedd and Anglesey the opportunity to get free help and practical advice to enable them to save more than £100 per year on their energy bills.
Households who spend more than 10% of their income on energy
within the Welsh Government's Strategic Regeneration areas in
Gwynedd and Anglesey (Mon â Menai) can reduce their bills through
the Groundwork' s Green Doctor scheme which is funded through Ebico
and the Welsh Government.
Our Green Doctor comes to homes and carries out an energy audit
of the property free of charge. We then provide energy saving
advice and money saving ideas and even install energy saving
measures such as; draught excluders, radiator reflective panels,
room thermometers and water savers.
Alison Fuller, Green Energy Coordinator at Groundwork North
Wales, said:
"Groundwork is pleased to be delivering the innovative Green
Doctor programme in Anglesey and Gwynedd and this completely free
service can help residents to save in excess of £100 per year on
their energy bills. We achieve this with a combination of
installing energy saving measures and providing advice about
changes in behaviour around energy use. Energy savings not
only help individual households to have lower bills and a warmer
home but also help on a global scale as carbon emissions are
reduced as less energy is used "
