Groundwork North Wales is one of the first groups in the UK to receive a Heritage Lottery Fund, All Our Stories Grant. Based upon the history of the Plas Power Colliery site at New Broughton, Groundwork North Wales will produce a detailed history of this important local landmark in the context of the once thriving mining industry in the Wrexham area, and the people who worked in it.
Airbus apprentices from Deeside College gave a great boost to one of Groundworkâs community gardens earlier this week by helping the regular volunteers to transform the garden .
A striking new Mural is unveiled, celebrating the North Wales Pilgrims Way. Groundwork North Wales together with young people from Gwynedd and Denbighshire have developed a stunning new mural that depicts the Pilgrims Way and marks the start of this historic long distance footpath.
Groundwork North Wales in partnership with TAPE Community Arts and Film and a range of community groups have created a wonderful sensory garden in Colwyn Bay at the TAPE Community Arts Centre enhancing the facilities at the Centre.
This Christmas, Groundwork are running two very special magical seasonal events for all the family, the first was on Saturday 8th December & the next will be Saturday 15th December, 1pm - 4pm.
